I thought it might be fun, since we have a new CD single coming out, and we have here our new blog to do our 1st annual “get to know your Organical member” survey. Each member was presented with the same set of careful constructed questions to give you an intimate look at how they think and react.

Of course, this is also a popularity contest, so don’t be shy, shoot us back comments with who your favorite member is.

So much since last we met. Where to begin?

We have added a new drummer, his name is John. I’ll tell you all about him soon.

We are in the midst of recording and mixing some new stuff, and as happens in the land of Organs sometimes we get all mixed up and start mixing because we are excited before we finish recording, or before we realize we maybe shouldn’t be finished recording. It will end well I believe and you should get to hear it in a few weeks. Maybe less then a few.

Actually I guess there isn’t that much new stuff really. hmmm.

I’m going to go now.

I’m working late tonight, so let’s write in the blog.

I mentioned yesterday we gots ourselves a new drummer. His name is John “Fatboy” Lalley, and is best known for his work with Bootsauce, but was also a member of some other great Can-con acts as Rusty and Groovy Religion. I don’t know why his nickname is “Fatboy”, I’ll have to ask him. He isn’t fat, so maybe it’s one of those ironic things.

He just joined up a few weeks ago, but already the Organical machine sounds like it went from a 4 cylinder to a v-8. We are working on getting a set of music all prepped so we can share John’s noise with the rest of you.

We’re also finishing up the last recording we did with our good friend George who was gracious enough to play drums for the last couple of years. It’s his drumming you can hear on the “comfortchurch” ep as well.

Now back to work, but if you’re not busy go and see what Darren did to our myspace page.
