Toradol For Sale, Day 5 1/2 was us getting together without John to do some work on getting arrangements sorted.   We focused on one that we haven't worked on yet as a band called "On the Beach."   Everyone was pretty happy with how that we sits, so next was a run through of "Here Comes the Radiation."  This is one that we have played through a few times but haven't done live yet.   It's been a while so everyone was really just trying to remember the parts.   Finally we tried to work on a concept of a song called "Revenge"  This one, not so much.   Our concept is lacking at this point, we'll have to circle back to it.

Day 6 was back to the recording and we jumped right in with where we left off on Day 5 which was trying to get a drum take of "Black Hole."  The session was plagued with technical issues from the get-go.   Besides the more mundane issues of having cables routed wrong, our Lab computer decides every once in a while to add a bunch of static to the recording, usually just when we think John nailed the take.   It was pretty aggravating for all of us, and tiring for John.

After a couple of hours of this I had to take off but the boys were going to switch gears and try to get a take or two done of "YNH."  Last I heard was this went OK, but as I expected the temp demo track that we were using for reference wasn't up to snuff.   Next session we'll redo our demo and update a couple of other temp tracks so that next session John is at, we'll be able to jump back into getting drum tracks.
