Here’s an interesting Harpers Article by Frederick Kaufman. I suspect Ed may have been a research editor on this piece considering his knowledge of all things scat. I keep this one in the reading room. This won’t be available for online viewing until the subscription month runs, but I wanted to give you at least 4 weeks notice. It’s some compelling reading. Not a research editor… a research SUBJECT, I was. I don’t remember much, but at the time, I was going through a rough-patch in my life, where I’d do just about anything for ten pounds of bean-burritos and a fiddy of Silent Sam. Come to think of it, not much has changed, but I demand Luksosowa vodka now – I have my pride.
