Working it late.
I’m working late tonight, so let’s write in the blog.
I mentioned yesterday we gots ourselves a new drummer. His name is John “Fatboy” Lalley, and is best known for his work with Bootsauce, but was also a member of some other great Can-con acts as Rusty and Groovy Religion. I don’t know why his nickname is “Fatboy”, I’ll have to ask him. He isn’t fat, so maybe it’s one of those ironic things.
He just joined up a few weeks ago, but already the Organical machine sounds like it went from a 4 cylinder to a v-8. We are working on getting a set of music all prepped so we can share John’s noise with the rest of you.
We’re also finishing up the last recording we did with our good friend George who was gracious enough to play drums for the last couple of years. It’s his drumming you can hear on the “comfortchurch” ep as well.
